On August 30, residents of Kazakhstan can expect a significant temperature range: in the north, thermometers will barely exceed +10 degrees, while in the south, the heat will reach +37. Rain and thunderstorms are forecast for several cities, according to infohub.kz.

The lowest temperatures are expected in Petropavlovsk, Kostanay, and Kokshetau — only +10…+12 degrees. In Petropavlovsk and Kostanay, nighttime temperatures will drop to +3…+5, with rain during the day.

In Astana, the temperature will be +13…+15, with occasional rain, and thunderstorms and gusty winds in the afternoon. In Pavlodar, +17…+19 is expected, and in Karaganda, +18…+20, with rain and thunderstorms in both cities.

Rain and thunderstorms will also occur in Oskemen and Semey, where daytime temperatures will be +20…+22. In Aktau, at +27…+29, rain and thunderstorms are also possible.

Meanwhile, summer is not retreating in the south. In Turkistan, the air will warm up to +35…+37, and in Shymkent and Taraz, to +33…+35, with no precipitation expected.

In Almaty, forecasters promise +31…+33. The first half of the day will be mostly dry, but in the second half, brief rain and thunderstorms are expected, with winds strengthening in the afternoon. Similar temperatures of +31…+33, but without rain, are forecast for Konayev and Taldykorgan.

In Kyzylorda, it will be +28…+30, in Zhezkazgan — +25…+27, in Atyrau — +23…+25, and in Oral — +20…+22. In Aktobe, daytime temperatures will be +16…+18, dropping to +4…+6 at night.
