Forecasters are warning of unsettled weather across Kazakhstan in the coming days, with rain, wet snow and icy conditions expected in several regions from October 6 to 8, according to infohub.kz.

NUR.KZ, citing Kazhydromet, reports that atmospheric frontal systems will keep the weather unstable across most of the country during this period. Rain is expected, while in the northwest, north and east of the republic precipitation will fall as rain and wet snow. Icy conditions and blowing snow are also forecast.

Winds are expected to strengthen nationwide, with fog at night and in the morning.

As for temperatures, the west of the country is expected to see +2 to +12 degrees Celsius at night and +17 to +22 degrees during the day. In the northwest and north, nighttime temperatures will range from -1...-6 to +3...+13 degrees, and daytime temperatures from 0...+5 to +5...+20 degrees.

The main temperature range at night in the east and center will be 0...+7 degrees, and +2...+15 degrees during the day.

In the south and southeast, temperatures are expected to rise: at night from +2...+8 to +5...+10 degrees, with frosts in mountainous areas from -1...-3 to 0...+5 degrees. During the day, the mercury will climb from +12...+17 to +17...+22 degrees, and in mountainous areas from +4...+9 to +9...+14 degrees.
