Weather forecasters have warned Kazakhstanis of unsettled weather in the coming days — from October 8 to 10. The news is reported by infohub.kz, citing the state-run Kazhydromet weather service.
According to the forecasters, rain will fall across most of the country during that period. In the northwest, north and east, precipitation is expected as rain and wet snow, while icy conditions are forecast in eastern Kazakhstan.
Only in the west and south of the country is dry weather expected under the influence of an anticyclone. Stronger winds are also forecast nationwide, with fog expected during the night and morning hours.
The forecasters gave the following regional temperature outlook:
in the west, the main temperature range will be +5+16°C at night, rising from +17+22°C to +22+27°C during the day;
in the northwest, north and center — a drop at night from +3+13°C to -1-6°C, with daytime temperatures of +10+27°C;
in the east — the main range at night will be 0,+8°C, with daytime temperatures falling from +10+15°C to +2+7°C;
in the south and southeast — +3+10°C at night, with frosts of 2°C in mountainous areas, and +17+25°C during the day;
in mountainous areas, +12+17°C is expected.
