Atmospheric frontal divisions will maintain unstable weather conditions across most of Kazakhstan, reports infohub.kz citing Kazinform.
According to Alina Ismagulova, press secretary of RSE Kazhydromet, speaking at a briefing at the Central Communications Service, rain and thunderstorms are expected on April 29, while mountainous areas in the southeast will see precipitation in the form of rain and snow.
"Only in the southwest, northwest, and center of the country, under the influence of a ridge of high pressure, will there be no precipitation. Across the republic, strengthening winds are expected, with hail in the west and north, squalls and dust storms in the southwest and south, and fog in the southeast," Ismagulova is quoted as saying by a Kazinform correspondent.
Ismagulova added that at night, frosts down to -2°C are expected in the east and mountainous areas of the Zhambyl region.
High fire danger persists across most of the Mangystau region, central and southern Kyzylorda region, northern Turkistan region, southern Atyrau region, northern Zhetysu region, southern Abai region, and southern Karaganda region.
