In the coming days, most of Kazakhstan will experience rain with thunderstorms, and hail is possible in some areas. Meanwhile, intense heat will persist in certain regions, reports infohub.kz.
Forecasters from RSE "Kazhydromet" have issued a weather forecast for the period from August 20 to 22. According to meteorologists, with the passage of atmospheric frontal sections, most of the republic will see rain with thunderstorms, stronger winds, and possible hail. In the northern half of the country, fog is expected at night and in the morning.
Heavy precipitation is expected on August 20 in central Kazakhstan, on August 21 in the east, and on August 22 in the northwest and mountainous areas of the southeast.
In the western regions and the southeast of the republic, intense heat will persist: daytime temperatures will reach +30...+38 degrees Celsius, and in some areas of Mangystau Region up to +41 degrees.
Elsewhere, no significant changes in temperature are expected. In Kostanay Region, temperatures will be +20...+30 degrees, in northern regions +17...+28 degrees, in central and eastern regions +17...+30 degrees. In southern Kazakhstan, daytime temperatures are forecast to be +30...+38 degrees.
