In the Zhambyl region, a woman sold her house for 18 million tenge but received only 14 million. She had to go to court demanding eviction. Eventually, the parties reached an agreement, reports infohub.kz.
According to the official Telegram channel of the Zhambyl regional courts, the Korday district court reconciled the parties in a dispute over the eviction from a residential house in the village of Korday and its release. In August 2025, the parties concluded a purchase and sale agreement for the house with a land plot worth 18 million tenge. The defendant paid 14 million tenge, but did not pay the remaining 4 million tenge within the specified period. Despite this, the defendant continued to live in the house. Repeated demands to voluntarily vacate the house yielded no results, and the plaintiff was forced to go to court.
During the conciliation procedures, the court explained to the parties the procedure and consequences of reconciliation. As a result, the parties reached a mutual agreement and concluded a mediation agreement. According to its terms, the plaintiff withdrew the lawsuit because the defendant paid the required amount. The defendant undertook to pay the plaintiff 400 thousand tenge in representative expenses in 4 monthly payments of 100 thousand tenge. In connection with the approval of the mediation agreement, the court terminated the proceedings. The plaintiff was refunded the state fee paid from the budget. The ruling has not entered into legal force.
