Drivers in Kazakhstan have shared which car features they could do without. A survey conducted on Threads revealed surprising preferences, from cruise control to safety systems, reports infohub.kz.

Several people said they could easily do without cruise control. Others, on the contrary, consider it one of the most useful features, especially during long highway trips.
Among the unnecessary options was the familiar CarPlay. Another commenter mentioned parking sensors, preferring to rely on mirrors and their own sense of the car's dimensions.
Some car enthusiasts listed several features at once: panoramic roof, wireless charging, surround-view camera, and automatic braking. One participant also added lane keeping assist, Start-Stop, emergency braking, and automatic headlights to the list.
Interestingly, some of these features relate not to comfort but to active safety. However, even such systems remain for many drivers more of an extra aid than a necessity.

Judging by the discussion, there is no universal list of unnecessary car features. It all depends on where, how, and how often the driver uses the car.
