Kazakhstan has seen a significant decrease in visits to public service centers: the number of visits to operators has dropped by 30%. Deputy Prime Minister – Minister of Artificial Intelligence and Digital Development Zhaslan Madiev announced this at a government meeting, reports infohub.kz.
According to Madiev, the shift of the most popular services to online format has significantly reduced the need for citizens to visit public service centers in person. In particular, electronic services now include initial vehicle registration, issuance of land plot certificates, and cadastral passports for real estate.
“Issuance of digital signatures and residence registration are now almost fully online across the country. Even if a person comes to a public service center, they increasingly do not need operator assistance. They can independently use the self-service zone,” the minister noted.
He also said that the concept of public service centers has been revised. “The new AI office of the population consists of three zones based on the 70/20/10 principle. In the main express zone, which occupies 70% of the total area, services can be obtained independently through terminals with an integrated digital assistant eGov GPT. The office also has expert and training zones where visitors can access a consultant,” Madiev explained.
The first such office opened in June in Zhezkazgan, followed by Turkistan, Astana, and Satpayev. According to the minister, the digital offices have already served more than 4,000 people.
