A fierce debate has erupted in Kazakhstan's online community over the personal life of Adilet Zeinel, the husband of tragically deceased ambulance paramedic Uldana Myrzuan. Eight months after her death, he has remarried, reports infohub.kz.
Social media users circulated footage of a wedding ceremony (uzatu toi) held in Taraz. In videos and photos posted on the banquet hall's page, Zeinel is seen in a suit alongside his new bride, who wears a traditional Kazakh dress. Her profile reveals she also works as a medical professional, posing in uniform.
Users noticed that Zeinel deleted all previous posts dedicated to Myrzuan's memory from his profile. Opinions among Kazakhstani netizens are divided: some criticize him for remarrying so soon after his first wife's death, while others urge against judgment and advocate allowing him to move on.
"Terrible," "He could have waited at least until the anniversary, only four months left," "I have no words after everyone felt sorry for him. For the first time, I feel such anger toward a complete stranger," users wrote.
To recall, 23-year-old paramedic Uldana Myrzuan sustained severe injuries on November 8, 2025, while on duty. That day, on Tauelsizdik Avenue in Astana, brick cladding and an air conditioner mount fell from the facade of a nine-story building. She was among the first to rush to help victims but was caught in the collapse. After 10 days in intensive care, she died on November 18, 2025.
The couple had married shortly before the tragedy, on September 30, 2025. After her death, Zeinel posted emotional tributes, professing his love for his late wife and calling the day of her death the unhappiest of his life.
Previously, Kursiv reported that Health Minister Akmaral Alnazarova announced the opening of a named classroom at the medical college where Myrzuan studied, in her memory. She also commented on the progress of the investigation into the facade collapse of the residential complex in Astana.
