Kim Kardashian's grandmother, Mary Jo "MJ" Shannon, has died at the age of 91. Her daughter, Kris Jenner, announced the death in a heartfelt social media post, infohub.kz reports.
According to Jenner, her mother taught her the most important lessons: to love family, cherish time together, and always support those you care about. "Today we said goodbye to my beautiful mommy MJ. There are no words to express what she meant to me and how hard it is to say goodbye. My mom was the heart of our family," Jenner wrote.
Mary Jo Shannon was well known to fans of the Kardashian family. She frequently appeared on the reality show "Keeping Up with the Kardashians" and later on "The Kardashians." Viewers knew her as "Grandma MJ." In 1980, Shannon opened a children's boutique, Shannon & Co., in San Diego. She later recalled that a young Kim Kardashian loved helping out at the store and enjoyed counting the cash. The cause of death has not been disclosed.
