American TV star Kim Kardashian spontaneously bought a neighboring mansion in Palm Springs after a golf cart ride, infohub.kz reports.
It all happened during a trip to Palm Springs, where Kardashian went with her mother Kris Jenner, her sister Khloé and her co-stars from the comedy film "The Fifth Wheel." The group got into a golf cart and set off to look around the area, where the TV star's attention was drawn to a house next door that was on the market.
The group drove without permission onto the fenced-off grounds of someone else's property through a hedge and bushes to get a better look at the backyard. Kardashian admitted on the reality show "The Kardashians" that she had trespassed on private property without permission, and jokingly urged viewers not to do the same at home. However, the celebrity liked the mansion so much for its better view and layout that she immediately began thinking about buying it.
The main reason for the deal was the desire to combine the family's properties into a single gated area. The new mansion sits right between Kim's old lot and the home of her younger sister Kylie Jenner. The star had long ago set up secret internal paths between her relatives' houses so she could move between the backyards without going out onto the street.
Kardashian contacted a realtor, quickly agreed on terms, put her previous home up for sale and successfully bought the neighboring house.
