Kazakhstan's Migration Committee has issued a warning to citizens seeking work abroad amid a rise in fraud cases. The website infohub.kz reports.
The agency's website cautioned about the spread of enticing advertisements promising supposedly fast employment outside Kazakhstan. According to the Migration Committee, such offers most often come from foreign intermediaries and dubious organizations that have no official registration in the Republic of Kazakhstan and operate outside the legal framework.
"The pursuit of easy money through unverified internet resources often ends in severe consequences for trusting citizens. Our compatriots risk facing major financial losses, a complete lack of legal guarantees and serious difficulties in a foreign country. The organizers of such schemes are often located outside the republic, which makes protecting the rights of victims extremely difficult," the agency explained.
The Migration Committee strongly urges citizens to remain vigilant, not to trust random advertisements on social media and not to transfer money to dubious recruiters. "Safe employment abroad is possible only through official, accredited operators with mandatory prior verification of all documents and permits," the committee concluded.
