A medical worker in Kostanay was subjected to threats and insults from a man, which she recorded on video. Law enforcement authorities have launched an investigation into the incident, reports the website infohub.kz.
The woman posted about the incident on the social network Threads. "I'm not posting this for pity. I'm posting it because silence only makes such situations normal, and they shouldn't become normal. We, healthcare workers, come to work to treat, help, and support people. But too often, instead of a normal workday, we face humiliation, threats, and fear," she wrote.
She attached a video capturing the dialogue. "One day I'll get you! I'll smash your head right off! I'll kill you!" the man is heard saying off-camera. "What for?" the medic asks. "For your insolent behavior," he replies. "Are you threatening me?" the woman asks. "Yes, because you're an insolent bitch," the man insults her.
The Kostanay Regional Police Department stated that a check is being conducted. "At present, the person who insulted the medical worker is being identified and will definitely be held accountable in accordance with the legislation of the Republic of Kazakhstan," the press service said.
