Police in the Kostanay region have identified a patient who insulted and threatened a dialysis center employee. The suspect is a 70-year-old pensioner, according to the website infohub.kz.
According to the Kostanay regional police department, the man was issued an administrative citation under Part 2 of Article 80-1 of the Code of Administrative Offenses of the Republic of Kazakhstan. He is accused of using foul language, insulting, and humiliating the medical worker. The court will determine the penalty.
Earlier, on July 16, a video of the conflict at the Kostanay branch of the Bios dialysis center appeared on social media. In the footage, the man insults the employee and threatens to 'kill' her and 'blow her head off'. According to the medical worker, the conflict began after she asked him to come for his dialysis procedure during a different shift.
After the video was published, the editorial team sought comments from state authorities. The police department said at the time that no official complaints had been filed. The Kostanay regional health department stated that they could not intervene because the dialysis center operates as a private medical organization.
