In the Kostanay region, a court has approved a settlement between a local resident and Otbasy Bank regarding the housing queue order. The woman contested her assigned subcategory in the queue, reports infohub.kz.
Citizen L. filed a lawsuit with the specialized inter-district administrative court against the housing department of the Kostanay akimat and JSC Housing Construction Savings Bank Otbasy Bank. The dispute centered on adjusting the subcategory of her registration for housing.
During the preliminary hearing, the parties decided to resolve the conflict amicably. With the assistance of a judge-mediator, they reached an agreement, which was submitted to the court for approval.
After reviewing the terms of the agreement and the case materials, the court found that the parties' agreements were in their interests, did not contradict the law, and did not violate the rights of others. Therefore, the court approved the agreement.
According to its terms, Otbasy Bank agreed to adjust the subcategory of Citizen L.'s registration in the housing queue: instead of the category "families with or raising children with disabilities," she will be assigned the category "single-parent family." The region, category, and registration date remain unchanged.
In connection with the approval of the mediation agreement, the administrative lawsuit was dismissed due to the reconciliation of the parties. The mediation agreement has already entered into legal force.
For Kazakhstanis who do not want to wait years in line for housing, it was suggested to take advantage of the Nauryz mortgage. This was announced at a government meeting by the Chairman of the Board of Otbasy Bank, Lyazzat Ibragimova.
