Moscow categorically disagrees with assertions by European politicians that Russia allegedly threatens European countries. This was stated by Dmitry Peskov, press secretary of the President of the Russian Federation, commenting on recent remarks by representatives of the French National Rally party, Marine Le Pen and Jordan Bardella, according to infohub.kz.
According to Peskov, such statements are unacceptable. "Russia does not threaten either France or any state in Europe. President (Vladimir Putin — ed.) has repeatedly said this," he emphasized.
Thus the Kremlin spokesman reacted to a statement by leaders of the French National Rally party, Marine Le Pen and Jordan Bardella, which said in particular that Russia is trying to influence French policy through threats.
"Therefore, we categorically disagree with such statements, we do not accept them," Peskov said.
He also noted that Moscow has no disputes with European states that could cause a serious conflict. According to him, the Russian side threatens no one and blackmails no one.
Earlier it was reported that Dmitry Peskov, press secretary of the Russian president, said a meeting between Vladimir Putin and Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky in Miami was impossible.
