In the seventh round of the Russian Premier League, Samara's Krylia Sovetov and Krasnodar played out a 2:2 draw, according to infohub.kz.
The match took place at the Solidarnost Samara Arena. By the 17th minute, the visitors were two goals up: Colombian striker John Cordoba scored in the 3rd minute, and Angolan winger Joao Batxi added a second in the 17th.
In the second half, the home side fought back. Bosnian midfielder Amar Rahmanovic scored twice, finding the net in the 55th and 79th minutes.
Kazakhstan national team winger Islam Chesnokov started for Krylia Sovetov and was substituted after the first half. During his time on the pitch, he made 12 touches and attempted five passes, three of which were accurate.
Krylia Sovetov now have seven points and moved up to ninth place, ahead of Orenburg on tiebreakers. Krasnodar failed to win for the first time this RPL season. The reigning Russian vice-champions remain top of the table with 19 points.
