On September 23, Kyiv endured another drone attack. After the morning strike, two utility workers continued cleaning the city and paused briefly near the outdoor terrace of a café. One of the women hesitated to take a seat and instead sat on the curb, placing a plastic bag underneath her.
Rostyslav, the owner and barista, noticed this. Instead of lengthy conversation, he simply brought the women coffee and a plate of sweets, invited them to a table, and thanked them sincerely for their work. He then hugged them and picked up the bag one of the women had been sitting on.
It seemed like just coffee, a bit of something sweet, and a few warm words. But the video unexpectedly went viral. Social media users are actively discussing Rostyslav's gesture, and the clip has already garnered 3.3 million views and 155,000 likes. In the comments, people thank the barista for caring for those who continued working on a difficult day.
