A 21-year-old driver in Kyzylorda has been stripped of his driving privileges for seven years and sentenced to 15 days of administrative arrest following a series of traffic violations, the website infohub.kz reports.
According to NUR.KZ, citing Polisia.kz, surveillance cameras recorded multiple traffic violations, prompting police to act immediately. The offender was identified and brought to the police department.
According to the information media portal of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, a check revealed that the man had been driving under the influence of alcohol. He was identified as Nursultan Aitbayev, a 21-year-old resident of Kyzylorda.
In addition, administrative protocols were drawn up against the driver for violating maneuvering rules, driving a vehicle without passing a technical inspection, creating an emergency situation, and running a red light.
By a court decision, the offender was placed under administrative arrest for 15 days and deprived of the right to drive a vehicle for seven years. The car was taken to an impound lot.
"Police urge all road users to strictly comply with road safety requirements and to refrain from actions that pose a threat to the life and health of other citizens," police added.
It was previously reported that a driver in Zhezkazgan was arrested for 35 days after failing to comply with police orders and driving while intoxicated.
