In Kyzylorda, police had to resort to unconventional measures to detain an aggressive man: his legs were bound with duct tape. The incident occurred in June, but the video only surfaced online recently, sparking widespread discussion. Details are reported by infohub.kz.
According to the press service of the Kyzylorda Regional Police Department, the incident took place on June 17. Around midnight, residents of an apartment building on Userbaev Street called the city police's '102' hotline, complaining about a man behaving aggressively and disturbing the peace.
Upon arrival, patrol officers found the man still acting erratically and refusing to comply with lawful orders. To ensure the safety of those around, the police were forced to take measures to stop the offender's dangerous and aggressive actions, including binding his legs with duct tape.
During the investigation, it was revealed that the man had previously been repeatedly held accountable for drug use. An ambulance was called to the scene. The offender was dealt with according to the law and given an official warning about the inadmissibility of repeating such behavior.
The police reminded citizens that if they witness inappropriate or dangerous behavior, they should immediately report it to emergency services.
