Petropavl's Kyzylzhar played to a 1-1 draw with Kostanay's Tobol at the Karasai Stadium in round 18 of the Kazakhstan Premier League, reports infohub.kz.
Alexander Zuev, a Kazakhstan national team forward and Tobol player, opened the scoring in the 31st minute with an assist from Dauren Zhumat. Ten minutes later, home side Albanian striker Liridon Latifi equalized.
No goals were scored in the second half, but Kyzylzhar were reduced to 10 men in the 88th minute when Serbian midfielder Nedeljko Piscevic received a red card.
After 18 rounds, Tobol are ninth with 19 points, while Kyzylzhar are 15th with 16 points.
