In Kazakhstan, over the first six months of 2026, individual entrepreneurs received 24,500 fines totaling 3.2 billion tenge. Most penalties were related to tax violations, reports infohub.kz.

Compliance with tax legislation is a key condition for successful business activity in the republic. Timely payment of taxes and submission of declarations allow entrepreneurs to avoid sanctions from the state. However, as the Finprom portal notes, many entrepreneurs continue to violate established rules.

During the reporting period, 52,500 administrative offenses committed by individual entrepreneurs were registered in the country. The total damage caused to the state amounted to 52.4 million tenge. A significant portion of violations fell in the sphere of taxation.

In total, over six months, individual entrepreneurs received 22,600 warnings and 24,500 fines totaling 3.2 billion tenge. The largest number of fines was imposed for offenses in the field of taxation – amounting to 890.1 million tenge. Including:

Earlier, the State Revenue Committee urged Kazakh citizens to submit tax reports for the second quarter and first half of 2026 by August 17, and to pay accrued taxes in a timely manner within the deadlines established by law.
