A scenic bike path in Italy, which many travelers call one of the most beautiful in Europe, is gaining popularity on social media. The route on Lake Garda has become a new attraction for cycling enthusiasts, reports infohub.kz.
The trail runs along sheer cliffs and literally "floats" above the water, giving the impression that cyclists are riding directly over the lake.
According to the video's author, bikes can be rented in the town of Limone sul Garda for about 25 euros (approximately 14,000 tenge) per person for four hours.
The video has garnered dozens of enthusiastic comments. Users call the route a dream and one of the most beautiful places in Italy. Some dream of returning to Lake Garda again.
"Saved, thanks," "This place reminds me of Lake Lucerne in Switzerland," "I rode there myself," users write.
The Ciclovia del Garda bike path is part of the large-scale Garda by Bike project, which aims to create a circular route around Lake Garda. Once completed, it will connect dozens of coastal towns.
For Kazakhstanis wishing to see the cycling route with their own eyes, getting to Italy has become easier. There are direct flights from Almaty to Milan, the nearest major airport to Lake Garda. The flight takes about eight hours, and from Milan to Limone sul Garda can be reached by train, bus, or car in about 2-3 hours.
Earlier, Kursiv LifeStyle reported that Kazakhstanis have been traveling to Georgia more often, but they have started spending noticeably less money there. These figures were released by the National Statistics Service of Georgia for the first half of 2026.
