Lawyers for Russian People's Artist Larisa Dolina plan to review publications, collages and memes featuring the singer for signs of insult or humiliation. The legal review was announced by the artist's director, Sergey Pudovkin, according to infohub.kz.
Pudovkin said that if insults are found, lawsuits will be filed to protect honor and dignity. "I and four lawyers will thoroughly review all mentions of Larisa Dolina's name. If we see illegal use of this name, insult, or an attempt at reputational sabotage — including photo materials, deepfakes, and collages — a lawsuit to protect honor and dignity will be filed immediately," he said.
The singer's director added that the meme review will be conducted around the clock. Pudovkin also said he had filed a lawsuit with the Basmanny Court against three companies illegally using Dolina's image and name: a furniture factory, an online store, and a bank.
Recall that in summer 2024, reports emerged that Larisa Dolina had become involved in a complicated story. It turned out that the Russian singer was deceived by fraudsters who persuaded her to sell her apartment and transfer the money to their account. The damage at that time was estimated at more than 200 million rubles. However, later the total damage, including bank commissions for the transactions and expenses related to the deal, exceeded 317 million rubles.
In November 2025, a verdict was handed down to the defendants in the fraud case involving Larisa Dolina's apartment — the court sentenced them to 4 to 7 years in prison. On September 8, 2026, Larisa Dolina won more than 144 million rubles from the fraudsters who deceived her.
