Two enthusiasts from different countries joined forces to set a new world record for the fastest build of one of the Danish toymaker's largest sets — a giant Lego world map, according to infohub.kz.
Sevy Swift from the United States and Athena Leong from Singapore teamed up on the Lego World Map set, considered one of the most complex and painstaking builds in the brand's lineup. The mosaic consists of 11,695 pieces. The pair managed to complete the entire world map in just five hours, breaking previous records.
The main secret to their success was a clearly planned strategy and teamwork. The friends pre-assigned areas of responsibility, preparation of small pieces, and assembly of individual blocks. This allowed them to avoid chaos and maintain a high pace throughout the process.
Guinness World Records officials officially verified the achievement and presented the duo with commemorative certificates. The Lego world map set has already been discontinued, making this record even more unique and significant for the builder fan community.
