At the Digital Bridge forum in Astana, Kaspi.kz CEO and co-founder Mikhail Lomtadze demonstrated to the Prime Minister how the personal AI assistant Kasper selects products for specific customer requests, according to infohub.kz.
The demonstration began with a simple phrase: "I want to track my health metrics." Kasper offered solutions and then, through dialogue, helped compare top smart ring models, consider iPhone compatibility, and figure out sizing.
"There are still very few examples in the world where artificial intelligence has been turned into a useful action for customers. We strive to apply this technology in practice. Kazakhstan already has a super app for everyday use — a unique product that exists almost nowhere else. Now our task is to create a personal assistant for everyday use," noted Mikhail Lomtadze.
According to him, Kasper is Kaspi.kz's own development, created in Kazakhstan. The service takes into account customer preferences, analyzes reviews, compares specifications, and explains complex terms in simple language. It can communicate in Kazakh, Russian, English, and Turkish.
Since its launch, one million people have already used Kasper. According to Mikhail Lomtadze, the main thing is that users return: this is what he considers the key criterion for service quality.
