Deputy Prime Minister of Kazakhstan and Minister of Artificial Intelligence and Digital Development Jaslan Madiyev, speaking on the sidelines of the Akorda, responded to a question about the possibility of creating a domestic taxi platform in the country and commented on widespread outages of Yandex Go services across Kazakhstan, infohub.kz reports.

Journalists asked the head of the Ministry of Digital Development about the timeline for restoring services and whether the development of a domestic taxi platform in Kazakhstan is realistic.

"Yandex is working. They have begun efforts to stabilize (the platform's operations — editor's note). We hope that in two to three days everything will be fully operational," Jaslan Madiyev said.

It was previously reported that after a drone attack, Yandex's data center in the Russian city of Vladimir completely ceased operations. The company is assessing the damage and recommends that users activate alternative disaster recovery plans.

Later, the company's press service said that the Yandex Go team is working to restore services. Currently, the services are temporarily unavailable in Kazakhstan.
