A tragedy occurred in Taraz: a man was brutally beaten and died without regaining consciousness. The victim's sister told the story on social media, reports infohub.kz.

According to the Instagram page Qumash, the woman said her brother worked at a hospital. One day, the ex-husband of one of his patients began constantly calling him, insulting him, and eventually challenged him to a meeting. There, as the sister claims, three guys hit her brother on the head and shoved him into the trunk. Then they drove him to the Asa River, where they beat him severely. After that, they placed the victim in his own car and brought him to the hospital, claiming they had found him on the street. Unfortunately, the man died without regaining consciousness.

According to the sister, the police initially detained three guys, but later released two. She also claims that the suspect had repeatedly beaten his ex-wife. There were no relations between the deceased and the woman.

The deceased leaves behind two young daughters. The man was to turn 30 in a few days. Relatives demand that all those responsible be brought to justice. The Department of Internal Affairs of Zhambyl Region told NUR.KZ correspondent that the tragedy occurred about a month ago. A pre-trial investigation is underway.
