A man was shot and killed in the Zhambyl region in the early hours of August 1 in the village of Lugovoye, in the district named after Turar Ryskulov. The tragedy occurred around 3 a.m. Police have launched a criminal investigation, according to infohub.kz.
As reported by the Telegram channel "Criminal Kazakhstan," relatives of the deceased link the crime to members of a criminal group operating in the area. The victim's sister claims the suspected perpetrator is 22 years old. The family also says that the man had been threatened multiple times before the tragedy.
Relatives of the deceased are demanding a thorough and impartial investigation and that those responsible be brought to justice. The publication notes that the victim is survived by his wife, son, and daughters, and that his elderly parents have lost their only son.
The police department of the Zhambyl region told NUR.KZ correspondent that a pre-trial investigation has been initiated under the article "Murder." Police officers identified and detained a suspect, who has been placed in a temporary detention facility. The press service assured that necessary investigative actions are being taken to ensure a comprehensive, complete, and objective investigation of the criminal case.
