In the city of Talgar, Almaty region, a man is suspected of harassing a minor girl. The mother of the victim shared details of the incident, reports the TV channel "Astana".
The incident occurred on August 24, when a schoolgirl was returning home from a friend's house. According to the mother, the suspect lured the child under the pretext of helping with a bicycle: first he examined the vehicle, then began to touch the girl. The frightened child could not run away immediately.
"He put his hand between her buttocks from the front and grabbed her, then brought my daughter to the bus stop, right here. Here, as you can see, there is grass, he sat right here. He sat my daughter in front of him. He put her in front of him and said: 'Take off your shorts, I will look and touch you there'," the woman said.
The mother claims that the girl managed to break free when the man began to undress himself. The child got back on the bicycle and managed to get home. There she told her parents what had happened and showed on a doll what occurred. The parents contacted the police. It also became known that the suspect had previously been convicted of murder.
The police reported that a criminal case is being investigated under Article 124 of the Criminal Code. "Police officers have opened a criminal case on this fact. Currently, the suspect has been identified and brought to the police. All necessary investigative actions are being carried out in the criminal case, aimed at an objective, complete and comprehensive establishment of the circumstances of the incident. Based on the results of investigative measures, an appropriate procedural decision will be made. The progress of the investigation is under special control of the leadership. Other information is not subject to disclosure in the interests of the investigation," the regional police department stated.
The mother of the victim says that after the incident, the girl is in severe emotional stress. The situation has also worried local residents. According to them, children regularly walk on this street.
