Diego Maradona's captain's armband from the 1986 World Cup has sold at auction for $512,000, according to infohub.kz.

Sotheby's auction house said the armband was on his left arm when he scored the famous "Hand of God" goal against England. Maradona also wore it in the quarterfinal against Uruguay and the final against West Germany, where Argentina won the title.

Also sold at the auction was a match-worn jersey of Brazilian striker Pelé from the 1958 World Cup final. It fetched $4.88 million. In that match, the legendary forward scored twice, as Brazil beat hosts Sweden 5-2.
