Marvel Studios has released the long-awaited trailer for the blockbuster "Avengers: Doomsday," showcasing an epic showdown between superheroes and Doctor Doom, along with the return of Chris Evans and characters from the X-Men, Variety reports. More details at infohub.kz.

The sprawling project is directed by Anthony and Joe Russo. The main villain, Doctor Doom, is played by Oscar winner Robert Downey Jr., previously known for his role as Iron Man.

The trailer shows a clash of heroes from three different cinematic universes. The Avengers are joined by the Fantastic Four, led by Pedro Pascal, as well as characters from the X-Men franchise, including Professor X (Patrick Stewart) and Magneto (Ian McKellen). A surprise appearance by Chris Evans as Steve Rogers, and Thor (Chris Hemsworth) warns his allies of the threat.

In the storyline, Doctor Doom seeks to destroy the multiverse to create a single protected timeline. "Avengers: Doomsday" is scheduled for release on December 18, 2026.
