Antonela Roccuzzo, the wife of Lionel Messi, has shared a heartfelt message to her husband following his decision to retire from the Argentine national team, reports infohub.kz.
In an Instagram post, she wrote: "I am so proud of how you are closing this stage of your life. So many years, so many moments, so much joy, and of course, so many hard blows. I have seen you suffer, fall, and get up again. I saw you keep going when things didn't go as you wanted, and try again and again to achieve your goals. And after so many years, I have been lucky to see you fulfill your dreams and live some of the happiest days of our lives."
Roccuzzo noted that the most important thing over the years was that their children grew up watching their father's successes, which were the result of hard work. "Maybe someday they will truly understand how great your journey has been. But today, they are simply proud of their dad. And I am proud of you. Of your path, of everything you have overcome, and above all, of the person behind every one of those moments. What a joy it is to live all this by your side. We love you endlessly," Messi's wife wrote.
