The Ministry of Defense of Kazakhstan has asked the public not to panic when military convoys move across the country, reports infohub.kz.
In the ministry's Telegram channel, it was announced that in August and September, Kazakhstan will host the strategic command-and-staff exercise "Batyl Toitarys - 2026". As part of this, military hardware, equipment, and personnel will be moved to the areas where combat training activities will take place.
"The troop deployment will be carried out by combined means: by rail, by road convoys on public highways, and using front-line and army aviation," the ministry clarified.
It is noted that these activities are planned and aim to improve combat readiness, enhance coordination among military command bodies, branches and arms of the armed forces, and practice modern forms and methods of using the Armed Forces.
"During the exercise, issues of troop employment and inter-service cooperation in a unified operational space on land, in the air, at sea, and in cyberspace will be practiced," the ministry added.
In this regard, citizens are asked to remain calm, rely solely on official information, and not spread unverified reports.
