Kazakhstan's Ministry of Energy has officially commented on the suspension of oil shipments at the Caspian Pipeline Consortium (CPC). The department explained that loading operations at the marine terminal were temporarily halted due to safety measures in the Black Sea, reports the website infohub.kz.
All CPC facilities are in working condition and ready to resume transshipment as soon as the situation normalizes. To avoid tank overflow, oil-producing companies have adjusted daily production volumes, leading to a temporary reduction in output. This measure is technological and aimed at maintaining process stability.
"The Ministry of Energy of the Republic of Kazakhstan is in constant interaction with the CPC management, major shippers, shipowners, and relevant government agencies. Continuous consultations are currently underway to develop solutions aimed at ensuring safe navigation conditions and the earliest possible resumption of stable exports of Kazakh oil to world markets," the statement said.
