Umanga Kumawat, a finalist in the Miss Universe India 2026 national beauty pageant, has returned to her main job as a Google Cloud engineer at the company's office in Bengaluru, infohub.kz reports.

She had represented Madhya Pradesh at the competition in Jaipur, finishing in the top 20 out of 52 contestants and losing the main title to Kazia Liz Megia of Kerala.

Shortly after the runway events ended, Kumawat posted a one-minute "day in the life" video on social media, showing the contrast between the world of modeling and working in tech.

Instead of moving into the entertainment industry, she returned to her usual corporate routine, which includes morning gym workouts, checking email, visiting the cafeteria, and work meetings on the IT giant's campus.

According to public profiles, Umanga Kumawat is certified in Google Cloud Platform (GCP) and specializes in cloud technologies, generative artificial intelligence, and application development. She also regularly publishes educational articles for the Google Cloud Community.

Her story has drawn attention from internet users as an example of successfully combining a career in high technology with participation in national beauty pageants.
