Moldova's parliament has approved the program and composition of the new government, which will be led by financier Vasile Toffan, reports infohub.kz.

Speaker of Parliament Igor Grosu announced that 53 deputies voted in favor of the confidence motion for the cabinet.

President Maia Sandu nominated Toffan as prime minister on July 11.

The prime minister's post became vacant on July 3 after Alexandru Munteanu, who had held the position since November 2025, resigned.
