Russian singer Elizaveta Gyrdymova, known as Monetochka, has revealed that her track "Monopoly" appears in the new film Spider-Man: A New Day, reports infohub.kz.
In a video posted on Instagram, the artist admitted she could hardly believe it herself. "Guys, I couldn't tell you about this not only because I wasn't allowed to, but also because I couldn't believe it myself. Not when Marvel approached us, not when we signed the contract, not even yesterday when the first viewers saw it and wrote to me. Only now, sitting in the cinema, having just left the theater, am I starting to grasp what happened. So everyone who loves the song 'Monopoly' – go see Spider-Man, it's really there," the singer shared emotionally.
Monetochka noted that the track is not just background music but plays loud and clear. "I thought maybe it would be somewhere softly, you know, in the background, but no – it plays so loud, filling the entire hall. My heart just stopped when I heard it there. It's simply a miracle. This is now my favorite movie, and it's your favorite movie from now on too," she added.
The singer urged fans to head to theaters, calling them her "little spiders." "You are now my little spiders – let's go, guys, to the cinemas. I just can't believe this happened. Sorry, I'm overwhelmed with emotion; maybe later I'll say something more coherent, but for now – just wow, let's all go to the movies, stock up on popcorn, and enjoy, my little spiders," she concluded.
