The mother of deceased paramedic Uldana Myrzuan released a video statement after learning of Adilet Zeinel's remarriage. She claimed that her former son-in-law and his family had not maintained contact and did not inform them of the upcoming wedding, reports infohub.kz.
Salima Eshankulova's legal representative, Nursultan Orynbekov, published the video statement on his page. A journalist from Kursiv has requested permission to publish the video.
Myrzuan's mother also said that the investigation into her daughter's death is ongoing, and that Zeinel has been recognized as a victim in the case. She intends to appeal to the relevant authorities to have this status reviewed.
Additionally, the family plans to legally recover the paramedic's pension savings, which were transferred to her husband after her death. According to the mother, her daughter had been contributing to these savings since she was 17.
She also mentioned a car that Uldana had purchased. After the tragedy, the car remained with Zeinel and was only returned to her parents on July 22.
Earlier, Kursiv reported that Kazakhstan's social media was abuzz with news of the remarriage of the husband of the deceased paramedic Uldana Myrzuan in Astana. It became known that Adilet Zeinel remarried eight months after his wife's death. Footage of a wedding ceremony (uzatu toy) in Taraz circulated on social media.
As a reminder, 23-year-old Myrzuan sustained severe injuries on November 8, 2025, while on duty. That day, on Tauelsizdik Avenue in Astana, brick cladding and an air conditioner bracket fell from the facade of a nine-story building. She was among the first to rush to the aid of injured bystanders but was herself caught in the debris.
After 10 days in intensive care, Myrzuan died from her injuries on November 18, 2025.
The couple had married shortly before the tragedy, on September 30, 2025. After her death, Zeinel published emotional posts on social media, declaring his love for the deceased and calling the day of her death the unhappiest of his life.
