The lead singer of Kazakh band MuzART, Kenzhebek Zhanabilov, has been hospitalized in intensive care due to heart problems. The artist said his condition has stabilized and he has been moved to a regular ward, reports infohub.kz.
The musician shared the news of his hospitalization on his Instagram page. He noted that he was supposed to perform at a concert in Shymkent but had to cancel his participation due to health reasons.
According to Zhanabilov, the cause of hospitalization was a blockage of a coronary artery. Thanks to timely medical assistance, he was transferred from the intensive care unit to a ward.
"Today I was supposed to come to a concert in Shymkent, but due to my health condition I will not be able to take part. I had a coronary artery blockage. Thanks to the doctors, I was moved from intensive care to a ward. Huge thanks to all the medical staff," the artist wrote.
The singer also separately thanked the medical team and doctor Almat Egizekov for their help.
It is not yet reported when the singer will be able to return to concert activity.
