Portuguese winger Nani, who played for Aktobe, posted a farewell message to Kazakhstani fans on his official Instagram account, infohub.kz reports.

The 39-year-old footballer spent a season at Aktobe, resuming his professional career. The team has one match left in the Kazakhstan Premier League (KPL) — away to Tobol Kostanay.

After a home draw with Kairat Almaty (2:2), the Portuguese said goodbye to Aktobe and the local team's fans.

"It was my last home match in Aktobe. The adventure is coming to an end. But what a journey we had together! Thank you to everyone at this wonderful club, to the wonderful people in this city and across Kazakhstan for everything we shared and for what brought me happiness. We still have one league match left, but I can tell you now that the warmth and memories from this chapter will stay with me forever," Nani wrote.

The decorated footballer scored one goal and provided four assists in 22 KPL matches. He added two more goals in two Kazakhstan Cup matches.
