A new generation of Kazakh table tennis players is set to take on the prestigious international youth tournament WTT Youth Contender (the youth tournament series of the World Table Tennis Federation) in Almaty, scheduled for 2026. Men's team
Alan Kurmangaliyev — International Master of Sports, winner of the World Youth Championships in mixed doubles, bronze medalist at the Asian Youth Championships. In 2019, the International Table Tennis Federation (ITTF) named him the best player of the world tournament "Hopes Week & Challenge."
Abai Zhumagul — winner of international WTT series tournaments: WTT Youth Contender in Panagyurishte, WTT Youth Contender in Almaty, and WTT Youth Contender in Batumi.
Alexey Markin — bronze medalist at the international WTT Youth Contender in Tashkent.
Dulat Yeralkhan — silver and bronze medalist at the international WTT Youth Contender in Almaty.
Oleg Yakovlev — multiple bronze medalist at WTT Youth Contender tournaments in Berlin, Batumi, and Almaty.
Nurdaulet Azamatuly — medalist at the international youth tournament WTT Youth Contender in Beirut.
Women's team
Darya Fu — Master of Sports, champion of the youth tournament of the strongest athletes of the Republic of Kazakhstan TOP-12.
Maria Lukyanova — Master of Sports, winner of WTT Youth Contender tournaments in Jezzine and Batumi.
Zhaniya Bekmukhambetova — winner of international WTT youth tournaments in Bulgaria, Spain, Slovenia, Slovakia, Croatia, Italy, Hungary, Georgia, and Egypt.
Adelya Alzhanova — champion of the international WTT Youth Contender in Tashkent.
