Yerzhan Ashimov, director of the Ust-Kamenogorsk Industrial Valve Plant, received a remuneration of 19.3 million tenge last year, reports infohub.kz.
This amount is slightly less than his income for the previous year, which was 19.8 million tenge. On average, the top manager's monthly payment reached 1.6 million tenge, consistent with previous years.
Notably, the enterprise itself ended 2025 with a loss of 522 million tenge, whereas a year earlier it had earned a profit of 1.9 billion tenge.
The plant, specializing in the production of pipeline valves for oil and gas pipelines, as well as oilfield and gasfield equipment, is owned by Gulnara Chaizhunusova, the wife of Sergei Chaizhunusov, a relative of Dariga Nazarbayeva.
80% of the company's shares are held by Mitsar 2013, controlled by Gulnara Chaizhunusova. The remaining stakes are distributed between Valentina Sim and Dinara Ashimova, with 10% each.
Sergei Chaizhunusov is also a founder of Kazgiprotsvetmet, a leading company in the design of non-ferrous metallurgy enterprises, and owns a number of other mining, trading, and agricultural enterprises.
It is worth noting that in 2018, Dariga Nazarbayeva's daughter Venera married Dalen Chaizhunusov, Sergei's younger brother.
