Three people died when an NBC news helicopter crashed in Los Angeles, slamming into two shipping containers and several cars, infohub.kz reports.
According to CBS, the circumstances of the tragedy remain unclear. Aerial footage showed Los Angeles firefighters battling a large blaze that broke out after the crash and spread to nearby vehicles.
Local authorities said three people were killed and another was injured and taken to a hospital. Their condition is not yet known.
NBC Los Angeles later said the aircraft belonged to the station. Several television helicopters were in the western San Fernando Valley, covering a traffic accident involving a bus.
NBC News learned that at least one of the dead appeared to be a pedestrian who was on the ground at the time of the crash.
