New Apple CEO John Ternus said at his first major presentation that the iPhone will remain the company's flagship product in the artificial intelligence era, according to infohub.kz.

Speaking for the first time as head of the corporation, Ternus outlined his strategic vision for Apple, betting on the smartphone's central role. According to him, the iPhone will not lose its relevance and will become the main intelligent hub of the AI era.

With this approach, Apple's new leader is effectively adapting the digital hub concept that Steve Jobs introduced 25 years ago, in 2001. At the time, amid predictions of the personal computer's decline, Jobs declared the Mac the foundation of an ecosystem connecting other devices.

In recent years, market analysts and industry publications have increasingly written about the arrival of a "post-smartphone" era, urging IT giants to find replacements for familiar gadgets. In addition, former CEO Tim Cook repeatedly sought to prove to Wall Street investors that Apple no longer depends solely on one product.

John Ternus disagreed with pessimistic assessments of the smartphone's future. According to him, no other device in the world can handle the role of a personal AI center as effectively as the iPhone. Thus, Apple is building its artificial intelligence strategy around its flagship device, making it the core of the brand's digital ecosystem for years to come.
