Muratjan Musaibekov has been appointed as the General Director of the Atyrau Oil Refinery (ANPZ), as reported by infohub.kz.
According to the official Telegram channel of the national company KazMunayGas, the decision to appoint Musaibekov Muratjan Zhunusbekovich as General Director (Chairman of the Management Board) was made during an extraordinary general meeting of the participants of Atyrau Oil Refinery LLP (ANPZ LLP).
The new head was introduced to the plant's staff by Aset Magauov, Deputy Chairman of the Management Board of KazMunayGas NC JSC. Over the years, Musaibekov has held various positions within the KazMunayGas system. He served as Director for Project Implementation in Oil and Gas Processing and Petrochemistry at KMG, Managing Director for Oil Refining, Deputy General Director of KazMunayGas - Refining and Marketing JSC, First Deputy Chairman of the Management Board of KPI Inc. LLP, as well as in other state and private structures.
KMG's management has set specific tasks for ANPZ: improving operational efficiency, increasing the yield of light oil products, enhancing reliability and energy efficiency of production processes, further implementing environmental projects, and creating comfortable and safe working conditions for employees. The importance of stable and uninterrupted plant operations was emphasized.
By the decision of the extraordinary general meeting of participants of Atyrau Oil Refinery LLP, the powers of the previous General Director (Chairman of the Management Board), Bishimov Kuanysh Erdaulovich, were terminated.
