New medical facilities have been commissioned in the Mangystau region, including a 150-bed hospital, four rural outpatient clinics, and a children's rehabilitation center, reports infohub.kz.
The hospital is located in the Munaily district. The building area is 30,000 square meters. The facility is equipped with the necessary equipment.
Four more outpatient clinics were built under the project "Modernization of Rural Healthcare." They are located in the villages of Appak (Karakiya district), Kosbulak (Mangystau district), Tazhen (Beineu district), and Kenderli (subordinate to Zhanaozen).
The outpatient clinics include day hospitals, laboratories, filter boxes, pre-medical care rooms, physiotherapy, physical therapy, and obstetric rooms. Residents will be able to receive primary medical care, diagnostics, treatment, and rehabilitation procedures here.
In the Beineu district, the rehabilitation center "Qamqorlyq" for children with special needs has started operating. It is designed to accommodate up to 600 children per year. The center provides 14-day comprehensive rehabilitation courses tailored to each child's individual needs.
The Ministry of Health noted that the new facilities should expand access to medical care for residents of the region, including rural populations and families with children.
Earlier, it was reported that the Ministry of Health plans to re-equip 32 district clinics across the country.
