On October 16, the Green Bazaar in Almaty will host the next ZVUK FESTIVAL party, turning the market's main pavilion on Zhibek Zholy Avenue into a dance floor for one night. The event will be dedicated to the East and the Silk Road, with a lineup featuring electronic music artists from Turkey, Iran, China, and Kazakhstan, as reported by infohub.kz.
The headliner will be CEM, a Turkish-born DJ and co-founder and resident of Berlin's techno community Herrensauna. Additionally, Iranian DJ MSIYAN and Chinese artist LIUYANG will perform in Almaty for the first time. The lineup also includes Nazira feat. SAMRATTAMA, Almaty Tüni: Arsen Superfly b2b Bismildin, E.T. b2b AKEE, and Milktea b2b APOLLA.
The event is scheduled to start at 8:00 PM. Tickets are available on the Freedom Ticketon platform.
Earlier, Kursiv LifeStyle published a photo report from the Green Bazaar before its large-scale reconstruction. It is worth recalling that in February 2026, it became known that the famous Almaty market would get a new look by 2028. According to the plan, the renovated Green Bazaar should become part of the old city center ensemble. Directly opposite the market, a business-class apartment hotel, Radisson Turkistan, is being built, and in January, a pedestrian zone on Pushkin Street was officially opened.
