In Kyrgyzstan, near Issyk-Kul, a vast ethnocity called "Nomad Universe" has been erected in the Kyrchyn Gorge for the World Nomad Games. The scale and atmosphere of this place have sparked admiration among social media users, reports infohub.kz.
During the Games, a grand yurt camp has been organized in Kyrchyn, along with two fortresses surrounded by clay walls with watchtowers. It is here that the cultural program and most sporting events take place. On September 2 alone, about 10,000 people visited the site.
In the ethnocity's market rows, visitors can buy folk crafts and taste national dishes. An aerial video of the site has already garnered 70,000 likes.
Videos posted from the city show a captivating atmosphere: performers in national costumes, the sounds of folk instruments. In the comments, users in various languages express admiration for the scale of the Games and hope that such a high level of organization will be maintained in the future.
"An incredible transformation of the Semenov Gorge," "I'm still in a coma from the opening ceremony with my jaw dropped, and now this," users write.
However, Kyrgyz media also note some shortcomings. Private car entry into the gorge is prohibited, and shuttle buses are insufficient for all who wish to attend. Moreover, after the spectacular opening, many Kyrgyzstanis regretted following the authorities' advice to leave the city during the SCO summit.
