A minor girl is suspected of stabbing two children on a playground in the Russian city of Novosibirsk, according to infohub.kz.
According to the prominent Russian Telegram channel SHOT, an attack on two children aged 10 and 4 occurred in the Leninsky District of Novosibirsk — they were stabbed while playing on a playground.
A 12-year-old girl is suspected in the incident; she allegedly underwent compulsory treatment for about 6 months after stabbing her grandmother.
According to Mash, a conflict is believed to have occurred between the children. The victims are currently in hospital, and one of them is in intensive care with a penetrating abdominal wound.
RIA Novosti was told by the Main Directorate of the Ministry of Internal Affairs for Novosibirsk Region that the information about the incident was confirmed. Police are establishing the circumstances of the incident in Novosibirsk.
"It was preliminarily established that minors born in 2015 and 2022 were injured by the actions of the 12-year-old girl. The minor has been taken to a police station accompanied by legal representatives for investigation," the statement said.
